Training is done by well qualified trainers under the strict supervision of Philippa Crichton one of the most experienced people in the field, who has specialized in permanent make-up since 1990. She has trained in England, Hong Kong, USA and Germany. She endeavours to always be up-to-date with the latest technology and developments. She is a member of the SPCP (Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, USA). Her training has interim accreditation with SAQA pending the registration of the unit standard.

COURSES

Basic (+/- 60 hrs contact tuition + 60 hrs of case histories)
Includes eyebrows, lip liner, and eye liner.

Prerequisites: Beauty Therapy, make-up artistry, nail technology, hairdressing or any paramedical training. Training includes eyebrows, lipliner, eyeliner, theory and practical.

Advanced: (+/- 25 hrs + 10 hrs of case histories)
Includes training in full lip colour, areola and nipple reconstruction, scar revision, colour correction and removal of pigment or tattoo ink.

Prerequisites: Must have completed basic training and case histories. Training includes theory and practical on scars, depigmentated areas, areola revisions, tattoo removal, and full lips.

Train the Trainer (+/- 40 hrs)

Prerequisites: Must have completed basic and advanced training and have completed the required number of case histories in each area.

WORKSHOPS on colour, techniques and updates offered on a regular basis.
